Anime Review: Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai

                                   Fair warning this is gonna look like shit

So! Ore no ‘Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai’ or for those who can’t read moon runes or understand it, ‘My Little Sister Can’t be This Cute’.

First off this show was pretty damn awesome. The animation quality was superb, the voice acting, the feels, and the bitter sweetness in every episode. Only problem with this show is that there isn’t more of it for me to watch. ;-;

I guess I should start off by giving some kind of introduction to the show and some info.

Ore no Imōto is about a guy named Kyosuke Kosaka and his little sister Kirino Kosaka who at first glance appears to be perfect in all standards. Despite being in middle school Shes a model, makes perfect grades, is athletic, and has great friends. However, she is a closet Otaku and mega pervert.  She enjoys “EROGE!” dealing with little sisters or ‘Imoutos’.  

In the first episode her brother discovers an anime DVD case she dropped. Inside he doesn’t find the disc to the anime, but rather a PC Eroge.  Startled by this he hides it in his room and tries to do some detective work to find out who it belongs to in the house.  Once he finds out its his sisters, she reveals to him her massive collection of Eroge and Anime merchandise, but not before she asked him “W-would you think I was strange if I owned those kinds of things Onii-chan?” Being the good brother he is, he tells her no and that its her hobby and she should be proud.

The following 2-3 episodes her brother helps her find friends that have similar interests as her and trying to hide her hobby from their overly concerned father.

All in all the series was a good ride. It was rather short being only 15 episodes long, but a second season has been announced.  I highly recommend checking this show out.  It can appeal to a wide audience with its comedic side and it’ll warm the heart of sister lovers everywhere people who enjoy good ‘ol FEELS in anime.

10/10 Would watch again.

New Gundam project…”Gundam Age”

so the first PV for Gundam Age came out and it looks pretty shitty. I’m not even sure why they are still trying to milk the Gundam franchise. It looks as if Gundam Age is being marketed towards children which I guess is a good idea since older people who watched the older Gundam series know that this one will be nothing special.

MW3 vs BF3…The Rant!..kinda

BF3 will not beat MW3 in sales. I can almost 100% guarantee that. Now This doesn’t mean that BF3 won’t be a great game and it definitely doesn’t mean that MW3 will be a great game. Activision has a chokehold on the FPS market in the gaming world right now with the Call of Duty franchise. Now if every Call of Duty game was top notch and superb that wouldn’t be such a bad thing, but Activision has made it into an annual title (which hinders the developing process) because they know that people will buy it. It may seem like each CoD game is a rehash/copy and paste job, but thats what people want and will buy. CoD 4 set the standard for most first person shooters out right now(HUD, Button layout, etc) and Activision capitalizes on that by making every CoD game since CoD 4 as close to it as possible. I do think however that BF3 will set in motion the “dethroning” if you will of the CoD franchise. I also find it ridiculous how people try to compare the CoD series and the BF searies. The two are completely different types of games. CoD is a run and gun FPS while BF is a tactical shooter. So there is why I think that MW3 will definitely outsell BF3.
